A ceiling light bulb is sometimes in a “High-hat”, or “recessed” light fixture. Unless you have a small hand, (and are standing on a ladder) removing it can be tricky, unless you have one of these:
Or one of these kits:
you still must turn off the power switch, and make sure the bulb is cool. And take care! you are working overhead with a fragile bulb that can potentially come crashing to the floor and break.
